About me
Hi and thanks for visiting my site.
My aim is to make unique, hand crafted, kilnformed glass that can be used and enjoyed every day. Each piece is individual and signed.
My work is inspired by nature in all forms, particularly water. The character of glass provides a wonderful vehicle to explore these themes in colour, texture, reaction and movement.
All of these elements combine to exercise my imagination as well as my background in Chemistry and I find the ever changing variables of heat, composition and reaction endlessly fascinating, inspiring and fun.
My training and work with kilnformed glass began in 2007, my studio was set up in 2009 and I have recently joined the Contemporary Glass Society (http://cgs.org.uk).
